The Week-ends du monde festival provides Montrealers of all origins with a veritable showcase to celebrate and share their culture and traditions with the general public through music, dance, culinary discoveries, and other activities. Many different cultures at one event featuring more than 50 countries this year.
Many activities for families and children and a good opportunities to spent your weekend surrounded by friends from many different countries and cultures.

Festival gastronomique Saveurs du Pérou et de l’Amérique latine - Saturday, June 9
- Site: Parterre de l’île Sainte-Hélène
- Time: Noon to 10 p.m.
Festival-goers are invited on a uniquely delicious trip under the theme of Peruvian and Latin-American cuisine. Ranked among the finest international cuisines, Peruvian cooking will have its largest-ever culinary showcase in Québec and Canada. More than 15 booths will feature Peruvian and Latin-American cooking, providing visitors with the chance to enjoy the great variety of Peruvian and Latin-American food, whose succulent taste will delight the general public. Wines and Peruvian cocktails will also be part of the event, as will gastronomy-tourism agencies.
All of this will be accompanied by cooking demonstrations and conference-workshops conducted by Montréal’s Peruvian chefs.

Celebration of Jamaica’s national day through its dance, fine food, arts and crafts and traditional folkloric music. Shows and family activities.
Festival Turc du Québec - Saturday, June 9
- Site: Place des Traditions (stage, subway exit)
- Time: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Dance, food and Turkish folkloric music. Shows, entertainment and arts and crafts exhibits. A rare opportunity to discover Turkish hospitality, culture and heritage.
Les rythmes folkloriques avec la SPEQ - July 9

- Time: Noon to 5 p.m.
A presentation of shows by various cultural communities, in collaboration with the Société du patrimoine d’expression du Québec (SPEQ). Traditional dance and music performances with 20 folkloric groups from different cultures in Montréal.
